The Lowry Hotel is hosting a stylish summer fundraiser in a bid to raise money for Bolton Society for Blind People. The black tie event, which takes place at the Manchester hotel on Friday, July 9, will see guests enjoy a drink on arrival followed by a delicious three-course meal created by the Lowry’s acclaimed chefs. The evening will then continue with live entertainment from funky soul band Checkmate, who will play classics such as Supersition and Midnight Hour. Also bringing the night to life will be performances from bespoke dancers and a fundraising auction, with Premiership football shirts and spa breaks among the lots up for grabs.

Bolton Society for Blind People charity co-ordinator Justine Watson said: “We need as much support as possible in order to make this event work and for future events to happen. A fabulous night out with friends, delicious food and rocking entertainment while also supporting a small charity - what else could you want from your Friday night?â€?
