Southport Food & Drink Festival returned this weekend, with a new seaside location on Princes Park.
Highlights of the event included expert chef demos in the Live Cookery Theatre, with appearances by Alex MacKay and Masterchef 2012 finalist Jay Tinker from Southport.
Lots for kids
New features included the Childrens Food & Drink Festival including a Teddy Bears Picnic, the Southport Bake Off and Community Bake Sale, the Pleasureland pop up seaside, Real Ale Festival and a Chocolate Festival.
There was also wide range of regional produce and street food available to sample and purchase and the organisers are getting thoroughly overexcited about Southport Food and Drink Festival 2013 already.
