Manchester Beer Festival ‘Summer Beer Thing’ Returns For Another Year

16 May 2023 by Sam Easton

The weekend-long beer festival returns to Manchester once again for, what promises to be, another year of hoppy, wheaty goodness.

Taking over Kampus from Friday 30th June to Sunday 2nd July, the Summer Beer Thing is expected to be bigger than ever, bringing some of the UK’s top breweries along for the ride. Boasting a huge selection of beers from the very best and brightest in brewing as well as providing DJ’s in a garden party setting and special ‘one off’ beers for the occasion, this year is already looking like a cracker.

Representing Summer Beer Thing, Louise Bruin, said: “Summer Beer Thing started as a showcase festival to get people together in the sunshine and celebrate all the seasonal ales from the UK’s best breweries. Year on year it’s grown and we now have thousands joining us over each weekend.

“Recent years have been really challenging for independent breweries, so it’s vital we get behind them. What better way than a massive summer party? This year will be all about seasonal bevs in the city’s best beer garden at Kampus. We’re going to pack the space with taps and collaborate with all the Kampus independents to offer more food and drink choices than ever before.”

Tickets are available right now and are priced between £6 - £10, Click through to the Summer Beer Thing website to purchase yours.

Ticket holders will receive a branded glass as well as being able to purchase tokens to spend at the many bars available featuring craft beers, fruits and sours, hoppy and session beers.
