CAFFEINE heads, it’s your weekend to be full of beans. Cup North’s Manchester Coffee Festival is expected to pack out the Victoria Warehouse (Nov 3-4).
Now in its fourth year, it looks bigger and better than ever, showcasing a wide range of indie coffee businesses. Most of the operators involved are coffee roasters who don't often get the chance to face the public in this way.
Expect coffee tastings, workshops, a chance to brew with the pro's, the finals of national coffee competitions and, of course, the chance for some serious espresso overload.
Cup North is an organisation committed to the development and sustainability of the speciality coffee industry in the UK. It was founded in 2013 by Ricardo Gandara of Takk on Tariff Street and at Hatch, and Hannah Davies, who manages events for the Speciality Coffee Association.
