MANCHESTER FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FEVER-TREE GIN GARDEN

15 August 2016

TONIC kings Fever-Tree are returning to Manchester Food and Drink Festival for a second year with their first ever ‘Gin Garden’ to be specially built at the Festival Hub on Albert Square.

The Fever-Tree Gin Garden will be a city-centre oasis, specially created as a haven for true gin appreciation. Inside, the “Ultimate G&T Bar” will be serving up an exciting selection of gins, perfectly paired with their award-winning range of tonic waters and a selection of garnishes, allowing festival-goers to create their very own, bespoke “Ultimate Gin & Tonic”.

An exciting program of gin masterclasses will be hosted in the Fever-Tree Gin Garden throughout the Festival, offering revellers an education on all things G&T as well sampling journeys of the different mixers and what to pair with them.

There’ll also be opportunity to discover the best gin spots in the city on the Fever Tree ‘Gin Safari’ – all part of one great big gin-credible experience at MFDF.

If gin’s not your tipple (shame on you) there’ll be a selection of cocktails all paired with Fever-Tree mixers including the “Ginger Mojito” and “Sicilian Fizz”!
The Garden will be flourishing at the Festival Hub throughout the Festival from September 29 to October 9, 12noon – 11pm daily. It will be free to enter and all masterclasses will also be free too, allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Manchester Food and Drink Festival is the UK’s biggest urban food and drink festival and this year’s programme includes events right across the city. The full programme can be found at www.foodanddrinkfestival.com

And, finally, here are a few Taste of Manchester gin recommendations to practise adding Fever-Tree to.
