The 2011 Manchester Food and Drink Festival is on now until 17 October. This 10 day long fiesta of food, drink, events, interviews and masterclasses has something to please every food and drink fan.
Now in its 13th year, highlights of the packed schedule include the Veltinâs Octoberfest celebrating the finest in German beers and the Greater Manchester Ale Festival (Fri 7- Wed 12 Oct at Festival Hub), the annual MFDF cocktail competition (Wed 12 Oct, 7pm at Festival Hub) as well as the Whisky Festival (Sat 15 Oct, 11am at The Lowry Hotel).
