Manchester stalwart Bryn Evans secures head chef slot at MC Cafe Bar and Grill at ABode

12 June 2012

No stranger to Manchester, Bryn has previously worked at Obsidian and Harvey Nichols before moving to the (3 AA Rosettes) Bodysgallen Hall in Llandudno.

The chef started his career at the Chester Grosvenor under Simon Radley before moving to the Devonshire Arms at Skipton.

Recently, he turned heads with his steady hand at Rhubarb in West Didsbury (we thought his cooking there was some of the best of his career). This move however sees Bryn returning to the competitive city centre scene, cooking in the relaxed MC Cafe bar and Grill in the lobby of the four star hotel.

Fine dining option

Winner of a number of Manchester Food and Drink Awards, the Michael Caines Restaurant is, perhaps, one of the most exciting dining options in the city centre.

Classical French-inspired and overseen by the Michelin starred chef, Micheal Caines, the executive chef in this section is Mark Rossi who works along side the famous chef, developing dishes and a new menu.

Rossi is hosting a Mumm Champagne Dinner on Thursday 5 July. The meal starts at 7pm with canapés and a glass of Rose followed by a gourmet supper with matching Champagnes from 7.30pm. Tickets can be reserved by calling the number below.
