Exciting news for any tequila aficionados and sports lovers out there as the people behind the Mexican restaurant, Madre, are launching an exciting new concept this December.
Right next door to Madre's Kampus location, Salon Madre, will feature four pool tables to play on alongside some very big TV screens set to show Mexican wrestling matches - also known as 'Lucha Libre' - as well as a bunch of other US sports.
Based in the site which was formerly the Seven Bro7hers bar, Salon Madre will also be serving up the dishes we've all come to know and love since Madre first opened its doors back in June last year.
You'll be able to order scran from next door, including 'Guacamole y Totopos', the 'Madre Wings' made with twice-cooked chicken wings tossed in sweet and spicy arbol sauce with garlic dipping crema and - of course -Madre's signature daily-rotating flavour-packed tacos, loaded nachos and burritos.
Give Madre's 'Raw Bar' bar, serving up heavy-hitters like their jalapeño mignonette oysters or the prawn and tuna tostada offerings, a go too while you're there.
The bar at Salon Madre will feature 100 variations of specialist tequila and mezcal with frozen margaritas, draft wine, Palomas, local beers and other Mexican specialities all on offer.
Salon Madre will open at Kampus next Friday (6th December).
