LEGENDARY restaurateur Marco Pierre White is visiting his Manchester restaurant, Mr White’s English Chophouse, at Velvet Hotel on Monday, November 26 to host an exclusive dinner party.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of fizz and treated to a £55 a head three course meal overseen by the rock star chef himself. They will also receive a signed cookbook and have the opportunity to chat to him and ask their culinary questions.
The menu for the evening will include a selection of classic Marco starters, including baked camembert fondue, seared scallops with black pudding, crisp pancetta, cauliflower purée, or locally sourced smoked salmon with bread and butter.
Mains feature his signature dish of honey roasted bacon chop Marco polo glaze, spiced honey roasting juices, Box Tree red cabbage, apple sauce, fondant potato.
Desserts are warm treacle tart with clotted cream, Mr White’s rice pudding with sherry-soaked prunes, dark chocolate mousse or a selection of artisan cheeses and breads.
