MICHELIN GUIDE: Two more Manchester restaurants named in the Michelin Guide

2 November 2025 by Rhiannon Ingle

Manchester’s impressive streak of Michelin recognition shows no sign of slowing, with two new additions joining the prestigious guide.

In Michelin’s October update, Bangkok Diners Club - now cooking out of the Edinburgh Castle kitchen - and Stow, specialists in open-fire cuisine, were both highlighted, despite having been open for less than a year.

While the Michelin Stars, Green Stars, and Bib Gourmands are unveiled at an annual ceremony, the wider guide is refreshed throughout the year, with inspectors adding new recommended restaurants each month.

On Bangkok Diners Club, Michelin noted: "Each plate looks neat and vibrant, delivering an array of well-balanced flavours and the occasional hit of creativity."

For Stow, the inspectors praised its atmosphere and approach: "With its winning combo of cocktails and cooking over fire, Stow feels like a restaurant for our times. Start (and end) your visit with a drink in the front bar, before taking your seat at the counter in the tucked-away dining room."

These latest inclusions follow a series of Manchester successes in recent months. Since August, Pip by Mary-Ellen McTague, Winsome by Shaun Moffat, Cantaloupe in Stockport, and Climat have all earned their place in the guide.

They now sit alongside other Michelin-recognised local favourites such as Erst, Higher Ground, Restaurant ÖRME, Another Hand, Sparrows, Adam Reid at The French, and El Gato Negro. Manchester also boasts the Green Star-awarded Where the Light Gets In, and, of course, the city’s current Michelin Star holders, SKOF and mana.
