More tickets released for Real Junk Food Project MCR 'Binner Party'

25 September 2016 by Neil Sowerby

THERE’S a real demand for junk, it seems – the kind of ethical and delicious food served up by the Real Junk Food Project Manchester Manchester. Tickets for their Binner Party fundraiser, an MFDF Fringe event, have flown out the door.

Hence, such is public support, they’ve put out a second set of tickets for the event on Thursday, September 29 at the unique urban space that is 53two, 8 Albion Way. If you already have a ticket to the fundraising dinner, you already get all of this included. The evening will begin at 7pm in the “53” (smaller) archway with drinks and music, then at 9.30pm the party will move to the larger “2” archway. Expect to dance!

Your ticket will provide for drinks, bands, DJs, bespoke cocktails and a party. Sadly you won’t get to taste the cooking of head chef Mary-Ellen McTague and her team. That dinner is at capacity. The free tickets are available here

All funds raised will go to Real Junk Food Project Manchester. To discover more about their campaign to fighting food waste and food poverty and turn it into affordable meals check out our Binner Party preview.

Confirmed acts on the night include DJs Sarah Walters and Pasta Paul, the Nat O’Brien Band (main picture), Jo Dudderidge of the Travelling Band and DJ Thom ‘Drunk at Vogue’ Docking.
