Damson MediaCity All day Sunday dining with a view
Wonderful views are a theme in our roundup and one of the coolest fine dining establishments with a view is Damson, in the heart of the new pedestrianised water-side plaza at MediaCity. Theres a famous winelist plus dishes to swoon for created by executive chef, Simon Stanley. Start with roasted foie gras with salted hazelnuts, Yorkshire rhubarb and pain d'epice or tartare of tuna with panzanella, salt & pepper squid and kalamata olive purée. Mains include elegant takes on Sunday roast featuring rib of beef and roasted middle white pork belly. We like the sound of salted caramel tart for dessert and theres a fine British cheese board too.
