It's National Burrito Day this week, and Tortilla’s Big Burrito giveaway is back for its third year. On Thursday, 2nd April, Tortilla will be handing out 15,000 free burritos to Burrito Society members from 3 pm.
Last year’s giveaway saw thousands queue nationwide, driving a surge in app downloads and viral moments across social media. This year, Tortilla is continuing the momentum, giving away over 7.5 metric tonnes of burritos to hungry fans across the country, so whether you’re a chicken asado purist, vegan chilli devotee, or a pork carnitas fiend, your free burrito is just a few clicks away.
Just download the Tortilla app and follow the steps to create a Burrito Society account. All members will get their free burrito perk automatically added to their account on the day, so customers can just head to the nearest participating Tortilla restaurant armed with the app to redeem for any medium burrito, bowl, or salad - guac, cheese sauce and chorizo add-ons included. The giveaway will commence from 3 pm, but be sure to get there a little earlier to beat the queues.
