NEW BOWLING & BURGER DESTINATION OPENS AT GREAT NORTHERN WAREHOUSE

14 May 2021 by Deanna Thomas

Unparalleled ten-pin bowling and entertainment experience Lane7 is launching a new venue in Manchester, taking over the former All Star Lanes site within Deansgate’s Great Northern Warehouse. The venue will also be where legendary house burger enthusiasts Fat Hippo will make their Manchester debut.

From May 17th, Lane7 will be open every day of the week with a total of eleven lanes ranging from a Traditional Lane for the classic bowler, a Premium Lane which is kitted out with light triggers for the ultimate immersive experience, or a Super Premium Lane, where (without giving too much away) every strike is guaranteed to go with a bang!

Lanes with private or semi-private areas are bookable for a more intimate experience. Each lane will enjoy drinks table service, so you won’t need to step away and miss any of the action. Enjoy expected classics, soft and hard shakes, ‘gram worthy cocktails and local craft ales and spirits.

Lane7 is renowned for in its existing venues across Aberdeen, Bristol, Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham, Sheffield, Middlesbrough and Leicester, but each location is distinct and innovative in its design. The Manchester site will be totally unique with a carefully thought-out interior that matches the city’s thriving atmosphere.

If you’re not an avid bowler Lane7 will also offers karaoke (when Government restrictions are lifted from June 21st.) Groups from two up to twelve budding vocalists can sing their hearts out in a private room with hundreds of songs to choose from.

There will also be retro arcades for the OG gamers and a brand-new shooting pod concept where players can unleash fire in a private booth, with attention to detail that will amplify the whole experience - expect weighted guns and kickbacks.

Pool or beer pong will be available for those who like activities that involve a pint in hand as well as shuffleboards, ping-pong and darts. All gaming areas enjoy drinks service with all the fun and no queues. Guests can hire experiences by the hour and then feel free to extend the booking if they’re just not ready to quit by then.

Fat Hippo will be offering ‘roll up your sleeves and get it all over your face’ food. BOOK HERE for pre- or post-gaming fuel in the form of stacked high gourmet burgers. Double patties come as a standard but if you’re extra hungry, double up with the 4X4. Choose from beef, chicken as well as plant-based patties, all served in a toasted demi brioche with hand cut chips.

“We’re excited to introduce Lane7 to Manchester this spring,” says Lane7’s COO Graeme Smith. “After a tough year we’re all overdue a good night out and that’s where we come in to welcome you to our extravagant world of all things fun!
