CUTTING edge hospitality figures will speak at Stockport’s first ever Food and Drink Trade Show on Wednesday, June 20. Among them, two chefs who have put the town on the culinary map – Sam Buckley of Where The Light Gets In and Matthew Nutter from nearby The Allotment Vegan – plus Paul Jones from Manchester-based Cloudwater, recently named the World’s Number 2 brewery.
The show, held in Stockport Market Place – site of a proposed new food hall – is to give businesses, retailers and aspiring food entrepreneurs an opportunity to meet producers, suppliers and support industries, who can all help them keep ahead of the game.
Exhibitors will include Manchester Veg People, Manchester Smoke House, Organic North, Kauri Fine Foods and many, many more.
The show will culminate in evening with the town’s first food and business awards at Robinsons Brewery Visitors Centre. Tickets are free and available on a first, come first served basis here.
