NEXT YEAR: Sankeys nightclub confirms return for 2026

27 November 2025 by Rhiannon Ingle

Sankeys is heading back to Manchester nine years after the Ancoats spot shut its doors. The team teased a comeback in June, and now, the latest update in the saga sees the opening of a new 500-capacity venue in the city centre with confirmed launch parties on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st January. Lineups and the exact location are being kept quiet for now, but it's clear we're all very excited.

After that, the club will open once a week on Saturdays, with Tribal Sessions landing a monthly residency. The venue has also confirmed it will run without VIP sections and will keep phones off the dancefloor. Its trademark LED matrix grid returns, along with a dedicated chill-out space.

The original club lived inside the old Soap Factory at Beehive Mill from 1994 to 2017. The brand has kept busy since, promoting parties around Manchester and further afield.

A Sankey's press release hints at a mix of new underground house, tech house and techno talent, plus familiar Sankeys favourites.

Tickets for the reopening parties drop on Friday 28th Nov at 9am.
