North West Wine Fest - full line up revealed!

On Bank Holiday Weekend, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 May, a celebration of exciting, exclusive and boutique wines is brought to Manchester by a host of award-winning, independent wine merchants.

The dramatic setting of St Peters - a stunning church tucked away in Ancoats - will provide the perfect arena to showcase a first class bounty of fine wines.

Participating purveyors of fine wine include hangingditch, The Bakerie, Origin Wines and Spirits, Manchester Wine School, Tour de Belfort, Pacta Connect, Harvey Nichols, Fyg Deli and The Co-operative.

Food will definitely not be forgotten - a selection of independent cheese producers will be on hand to match cheese to bespoke wines, plus traditional Mancunian fare from local artisan suppliers.

The Wine Fest has also just released tickets for its tutored tastings, hosted by the likes of acclaimed wine writer, Simon Woods, Epernay who are offering a masterclass in Champagne, as well as explorations of up-and-coming favourites like Japanese
rice wine, Sake.

This very Mancunian celebration is delighted to present its latest attendee, the famous Manchester Egg. As featured in the Independent, Observer Food Monthly and many more, the EGG is perfect fuel for wine lovers.

If you prefer to ride in style why not take an open top bus tour of the city? Sign up for the Saturday 5pm - 9pm session and enjoy a tour as part of your ticket price. The bus leaves from Chorlton Street at 4:30pm and will take you on a mini tour on your way to the Wine Fest at St Peter’s Church.
