The award’s eight categories include best restaurant, best hotel, best bar and best chef, with five finalists battling it out in each respective section.

Carefully selected by a panel of expert judges, the 2010 finalists include Manchester’s Corridor, Walrus and Hula (Best Bar), Abode Manchester and The Lowry (Best Hotel), The Fisherman’s Retreat in Ramsbottom (Best Pub), Nutters in Rochdale (Best Wine Offering) and the Wirral’s Fraiche (Best Chef).
