PLY: A NEW NQ BAR AND RESTAURANT FROM THE TEAM BEHIND KOSMONAUT

19 March 2014

PLY is a new bar and restaurant situated in the Northern Quarter’s Stevenson Square set to launch this summer.

The venue is a striking new concept from the team behind Tariff Street’s Kosmonaut, which opened its doors in August 2012 and this year won Bar of the Year awards from both Manchester Evening News’ Citylife and Design My Night.

Building work on PLY, a bright creative multipurpose venue for drinking, eating, meeting and socialising, is soon to be underway, as the team redevelops a 5500 square foot unit on the ground floor of 26 Stevenson Square.

Director Joe Fearnhead said: “PLY is a fresh new concept, completely distinct from the current Northern Quarter offering with some show-stopping elements. It’s a flexible space, with defined areas designed to cater for drinkers, diners, coffee meetings and lazy afternoons.”

PLY will be revealing the bar’s unique look, feel and offering over the coming weeks. Follow the venue on Twitter @plymcr and facebook.com/plymcr and sign up to the mailing list via Facebook.
