One of Manchester’s cult hero sushi establishments is making the move to the city centre after announcing they’ll be setting up shop on Bridge Street.
Sushi Marvel, which has been lauded as one of the cities top sushi establishments, will be taking over the Exclsve Bar & Eatery site this summer and leaving their old venue behind on July 2nd.
Originally opening in Chorlton in 2017 and founded by Katie Lau and business partner Kevin Chiu, Sushi marvel has been described as casual Japanese Sushi for ‘serious sushi lovers’. With a real aim to push authentic yet accessible sushi to the masses, they’re still renowned for their use of high quality ingredients including premium Otoro cuts of blue fin tuna and wagyu beef.

Sushi Marvel announced the news to their followers this week with the following message: “Hi. We hope everyone is doing marvellously and enjoying the wonderful weather we’ve been having.
“We would like to take a moment of your time to humbly and gratefully announce we will be opening Sushi Marvel restaurant, and we look forward to welcoming you all very soon!“Our Ancoats branch will remain open until 2nd July (I know!) so come get your sushi fix now!”
Although an opening date hasn’t been confirmed yet, we’re expecting one in the next few weeks or so - keep an eye on their socials for more updates.
