Preview of Enzo – tasty Italian-inspired newcomer

3 April 2017

THE breakfast pizza pictured above is coming to Manchester city centre from Monday, April 10  courtesy of indie operator Enzo, http://www.enzouk.com with Italian-inspired coffee to match. Well that’s breakfast sorted, but the Fountain Street newcomer, which has been a huge success in Nantwich, isn’t leaving it there…

The 75-cover eaterie (inside and out) offers a range of pizzas and pastas for all occasions and cakes to go with that coffee later in the day and into the early evening.

Pizzas on the menu include the signature Enzo Royale (Bolognese sauce, pepperoni, red onion and chillies), Veggie Feast and the renowned Thunderstruck (folded pizza of beef meatballs, chorizo and tomato and basil sauce) as well the range of breakfast pizzas. Pasta dishes including the Napolini (fresh penne with Enzo’s tomato and basil sauce with rocket), Bolognese (made with home-made sauce) and the spicy, extra hot Piccante (fresh Penne, nduja, home made tomato and basil sauce with pepperoni).

Owner James Skade said: “The opening of Enzo in city centre Manchester is set to add a new dimension to the current café society. We’re passionate about serving something special and that reflects across the whole of the menu. We have brought together a team of people who are passionate about Enzo and our menu, as well as exacting levels of customer service.

“We launched the original Enzo in Nantwich because it’s our home town, and it’s proved to be such a success that we wanted to spread our wings and create a base in Manchester.  We’ll be open from 7.30am to serve our guests and can’t wait to meet them all.”
