We went over to The Firehouse following their exciting new launch of their all-new Supper Club menu this month and, we can confirm, it's not short of perfection.
Continuing with their fire-cooked signature flair, the short but sweet menu invites diners for a midweek feast that's all about mates, meats, mezze and margs.
Supper Club specials, exclusive to Wednesdays, include Pichana steak, cooked over coal and wood for just £14 and whole Firehouse Peri Chicken served with peri gravy, £16 for half and £30 for a whole chicken.
While the big plates are the perfect hearty choice for a chilly midweek evening, it's the mezze board which really takes things to the next level.
We indulged in the Mezze Plate, coming in at £15 a pop, which featured Chermoula squash and pomegranate, grilled broccoli with confit garlic, chilli and lemon, roasted carrots, tahini, and pistachio dukkah, beetroot borani, pickles and tabbouleh and Firehouse’s signature fluffy pitas.
Shared between two, this is a great sharing platter to graze on while sipping Firehouse's margaritas priced at a very reasonable £6 all night long.
We naturally went for the Frozen Black Cherry + Grape and the Spicy marg and it's for sure the ultimate pairing with the Supper Club offerings.
