Swap your pint of porter for a glass of Danish brew at a special event being hosted at KRO2 tomorrow (Wednesday. The Oxford Road bar is hosting a Danish Beer Tasting event and offering customers the chance to discover the delights of three of the countryâs micro breweries. A selection of eight Danish beers will be available to sample and knowledge of the foreign tipples will be on tap thanks to a guest expert from 95% Danish.
The beers on offer to taste are Rise Brewery - Aero Stout, Aero Grolle Pilsener and Aero Number 5 Walnut Ale; Sogaards Brewery - L.O.A, Rod Quinoa and Klosterbryg and Orbaek Brewery - Dark Horse and O.P.A.
The tasting, which starts at 8pm, will also be accompanied by a three-course selection of traditional Danish food platters, prepared by KRO2 chefs. The menu will feature a fish platter, a hot meat platter and traditional Othello cake.
