AS firm supporters of the Real Junk Food Project Manchester and a fan of award-winning Salut ToM is delighted to welcome their upcoming collaboration on Thursday, April 20.
The Cooper Street wine bar will be serving a selection of small plates to share, accompanied by the kind of wines that saw it named recently as the UK’s best small retailer (though there are soft drinks available. if you really must).
As with all Real Junk Food events, the feast will be made entirely from food that would otherwise go to waste and served on a pay-as-you-feel basis. Note: that doesn’t apply to the wines. Places for the evening are free but limited so book here.
All funds raised will go directly to support the not for profit project Real Junk Food Project Manchester in fighting food waste and food poverty. They champion sustainability and work with food businesses to reduce food waste, and help everyone to access enough food and good food.
