THIS year’s Independent Manchester Beer Convention at Victoria Baths has welcomed record ticket sales, with 4,000 tickets sold since their release on June 1, with three of the festival’s six sessions already sold out.
Tickets for the popular Saturday night session sold out within six and a half hours, and not long after the Saturday daytime and Friday night slots followed suit.
A showcase for the best beers and breweries from the UK and beyond, this year sees an increased capacity to welcome 6,000 people throughout the course of the festival, making room for more beers, more events and more food and more fun, while making better use of the stunning baths, including its outside space.
Along with up to 200 of the finest beers from the best breweries, the event features street food from some of the region’s favourite local traders, pop up tasting sessions, talks and lectures on the craft beer scene plus much more.
Session times are as follows: Thursday, Oct 8, 5.30-11.30pm; Friday 11.30-4.30pm (trade session) and evening 5.30-11.30pm (sold out); Sat Oct 10 day 11.30-4.30pm (sold out) and evening 5.30-11.30pm (sold out); Sun Oct 11 1pm-7pm.
