Manchester's ever-bustling Northern Quarter has just welcomed new kid on the block, Renae.
The brand-new music-led bar and venue, created by two long-time friends with a shared love for Manchester’s creative and cultural scene, sits on Thomas Street, making neighbours with Cane & Grain and Terrace.
Opening its doors on Friday (28th March), Renae will blend a cosy daytime shop featuring a curated record shop by Patrick Ryder (formerly of Piccadilly Records) and pop-up book shop with an intimate bar that flows from day into night, serving craft beers, natural wines, and cocktails at accessible prices.
The first phase of opening is its ground-floor bar boasting a bespoke DJ booth and Manchester’s only L-Acoustics Syva sound system, crafted by the city’s leading sound designer Soundhaus.
Designed to showcase a diverse programming, from jazz nights and ambient sessions, to album launches, label parties, music workshops, plus resident and guest DJs on rotation.
