RIBS WITH A PUNCH AT GRUB’s LATEST FOOD FAIR AT RUNAWAY

19 May 2016 by Neil Sowerby

GRUB’s latest Food Fair at Runaway Brewery on Saturday, May 21 offers a typically eclectic mix of street food – from  Andy Low ’N’ Slow (legendary BBQ from Birmingham, pictured above), On The Goa (authentic Indian street food), Fritto (deep fried calzone from Liverpool), Maiden Taiwan (GQ residents cooking Taiwanese) and ¡Arepa!¡Arepa!¡Arepa! (one-off Colombian sweet menu).

Wash them down with Mark Welsby’s excellent Runaway beers, as fresh they get in the arches where are created, joined by fellow Manchester micro breweries Track and Squawk. On the decks this month are Jamie Groovement and Dan Nation from 4pm.

It should whet the appetite for the further GRUB events contribution the food calendar – a super-sized party on June 18 as part of Manchester Beer Week ,followed by an August Bank Holiday special opening alongside Green Quarter allies Blackjack Beers.

Food Fair,  Runaway Brewery, Unit 4 Millgate, Dantzic Street, M4 4JW. May 21, 12pm-10pm. Further details of the event and future announcements can be found at the Facebook event page.
