FOLLOWING the runaway success of its debut venue in the Northern Quarter, Kahlúa, the Mexican coffee liqueur is set to appear at Manchesters first coffee festival in Chorlton at the end of June.
Salon de Kahlúa, a speakeasy style creative drinks experience inspired by the unique heritage of Veracruz, Mexico, was devised in collaboration with local mixology wizards The Liquorists and Teacup from Thomas Street and enjoyed an extended run at the hired Market Restaurant.
Now its taking its coffee-inspired cocktails and free masterclasses to the Chorlton
Coffee Festival when it takes over the garden at Morley Cheeks on
Barlow Moor Road from June 28-30.
Aspiring mixologists will have their senses put to the test during blindfolded tasting sessions which explore Kahlúas unique heritage. Masterclasses will be held at 6.30pm and 8.30pm on the Friday and Saturday and include a bespoke signature Kahlúa cocktail.
Bookings can be made for up to 10 people, guests must be 18 or over to apply and spaces are limited. To book mail [email protected].
