San Carlo group are opening another Italian restaurant, cocktail and champagne bar in the restaurant space in Selfridges. This new project is set to join San Carlo and San Carlo Cicchetti in Manchester city centre as the thriving chain take over the space previously occupied by Aubaine. The soft launch of the restaurant is happening this week, with booking being taken from the start of November. The glass-clad space serves extraordinary views to the north of the city centre, so expect more of the same with plenty of atmosphere, an overhauled interior and, as ever, the finest Italian cooking. The name, Bottega, refers to the studio of a master craftsman or artist; a place where others go to learn.
