BLOODY Mary! The Alchemist on the Quays is celebrating its first birthday. It seems like only yesterday we were admiring this futuristic £1.2m addition to what had previously been a rather low-key bar restaurant scene down there.
ToM has found this bold architectural statement’s setting on a prime waterside location between The Lowry Theatre and MediaCityUK the perfect brunch spot. Time to test it out again at The Alchemist’s special ‘First Birthday Brunch Celebration’ this Bank Holiday.
For £20 you can savour a breakfast/brunch dish on the terrace overlooking the Ship Canal and get your chance to create your own perfect Bloody Marys and Vodka Spritzes with Ketel One*.
Experiment with different spices, flavours and fruits, all explained by a Ketel ambassador – even stray from the traditional tomato to a more exotic juice.
