WHAT a way to celebrate your 15th anniversary – open a fourth venue. Evuna have gained planning permission to open in Altrincham town centre in a site previously occupied by healthy eating restaurant EAT:kaizen.
The tried and tested formula of tapas and boutique Spanish wines remains the same as at their original Deansgate base, which was founded by by mother and daughter team Frances and Jane Dowler in 2003, Thomas Street in the Northern Quarter and King Street, Knutsford, launched a year ago. The 55-cover Altrincham incarnation will open on Stamford New Road early in 2019.
The Dowlers and their loyal customer base celebrated Evuna’s birthday with a Battle of Spanish Reds tasting on Deansgate pitting Rioja and Ribera del Duero producers against each other. Read Jane Dowler’s Manchester Tasting Notes here.
