Burger lovers will be buzzing to know the wait for Doug's is nearly over now as it's set to open its doors very soon on Oxford Road’s Circle Square making neighbours with the likes of Federal, Amber's, Detroit Slims and Onda.
While the well-loved burger joint, Doug's started in Norway - a very northern team actually leads it.
In fact, it's the same people Madre and Medlock Canteen who have brought the 'Oklahoma-style' burger restaurant (think a load of finely diced onions smashed directly into the patty) and they will be focussing on the classics as well as some signature favourites with an exciting twist.
Diners can choose from a number of offerings including the OG classic burgers made with hand-pressed patties from premium dry-aged beef or the classic cheeseburger featuring a smashed patty, onions, cheese, mustard, ketchup, pickles and Doug’s special sauce.
If you're more into your white meat, there’ll also be fried chicken sandwiches, hot tenders and fries, plus breakfast buns served all day.
While all that sounds proper good, arguably, the highlight of Doug's entire menu has to be the 'Happier Meal' which is simply a burger and fries served with a martini - what's not to love?
Doug's says: "'A better burger' isn’t just a slogan; it's a philosophy that embodies our commitment to excellence in every bite.
"We meticulously hand-smash each patty using a premium dry-aged beef blend, ensuring unparalleled flavour and juiciness in every bite.
"We exist to redefine the standard for what a burger joint can be. Every detail, from the sourcing of our ingredients to the care put into each preparation, reflects our unwavering commitment to providing our customers with nothing but the best.
"Join us on a journey where every bite is a testament to our pursuit of burger perfection – because at our establishment, 'a better burger' isn't just a slogan; it's a promise."
Doug's, whose newest spot in Manchester will be its fourth restaurant, is set to be open seven days a week from 11am until midnight.
