Now, it's clear that Ancoats is not short of artisanal bakeries but there's one joint that really stands out - none other than Companio nestled just a stone's throw from the marina.
The Radium Street hotspot has now announced the exciting news that it's set to open its first cafe in the Northern Quarter.
After first opening its doors back in 2019, Companio has quickly established itself as the place to go to satisfy all your sourdough, focaccia and pastry cravings.
So, I'm sure fans of the spot will be well chuffed to hear that they’re expanding, opening up a 'new, larger cafe' just minutes down the road!
