Southport New Pleasureland Is Just Beachy at the Food and Drink Festival. Southport New Pleasureland is the sponsor for the townâs Food and Drink Festivalâs seaside picnic area, extending a warm, fun, family-friendly welcome to everyone.
The amusement park, which is adjacent to the festival site, is hosting an inland âbeachâ, complete with deckchairs for snoozing and, for sampling Southportâs best food and drink, thereâll be plenty of Pleasureland picnic benches.
To give things a real beachy feel the park will be providing one or two suprise elements and some its fun characters will be on hand to distribute vouchers for free rides.
Pleasureland opened for 2012 with a new indoor Casablanca family entertainment space packed with amusements and newly available for childrenâs party bookings. Inside thereâs a soft-play area, junior dodgems and carousels, a family restaurant and a lively games arcade.
In addition to around 100 rides, including the brand new Piranha River Ride, thereâs the sea front Kart Track, and Battlefield Live with forts, bunkers, cages and hideaways. Play out battles with infrared laser guns for anyone 7+. Admission to the park is free, pay for the rides you choose.
To win a family (four person) VIP ticket to ride free at the park for a day just answer this simple question. What is the name of the new ride at Southport New Pleasureland. Email your entry to [email protected]. Closing date will be on the 10th June 2012. The winner can come and collect their pass on the day they wish to ride. Valid for one day only, no cash alternative, the park opens from 12 noon during the season, weekends and school holidays, but may close in bad weather.
