Star chefs to dazzle at Northern Lights Charity Dinner

FRESH from securing four AA Rosettes for The French, Adam Reid joins four other top North West chefs for the Northern Lights Dinner at The Lowry Hotel on Monday, October 1, to raise funds for Hospitality Action

Alongside him in the Salford five-stars’ kitchens will be Steven Smith (pictured above) of the multi-award-winning Freemasons Wiswell, fellow fine dining gastropub chef/patron James Mackenzie of the Pipe and Glass, Dalton, Gary Usher (Hispi, Sticky Walnut, Wreckfish and the newly opened Pinion Prescot) and 2017 Great British Menu finalist Ellis Barrie of The Marram Grass, Anglesey.

The dinner will start with a cocktail and canapé reception from 6pm before guests are treated to an ‘as good as it gets’ five course dinner, including wine matches, coffee and petits fours. Starter (Mackenzie), Fish (Barrie), Main (Usher), Cheese Savoury (Smith) and Dessert (Reid)
