We're excited about the return of Stockport Beer Festival this weekend. Taking over Edgeley Park, and running from Thursday to Saturday, it's among the largest festivals of its kind organised by the world-famous Campaign for Real Ale. Both beers and ciders feature heavily on the menu, with around 150 cask and bottled conditioned beers to choose from alongside ciders, perries and European beers. Try everything from Emelisse Smoked Rye IPA (Netherlands) to Hornbeam Brewery's Champagne Ale (UK) as well as Festival favourites like Magic Rock and The Kernel as well as new Mcr brewer, Five-Oh. Live entertainment is a big part of the show too, plus lashings of food. A rare chance to explore some of the country's finest ales.
