STORE STREET AND JW LEES RAISE A TOAST TO FOREVER MANCHESTER WITH CHARITABLE PARTNERSHIP

24 August 2017

STORE Street, the revamped ground floor dining and drinking space at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, has announced a heartening charity initiative to tie in with its opening in late September.

In collaboration with Middleton brewery JW Lees, who are supplying ales to the Store Street Craft Bar and partner restaurant Store Street Exchange, they are raising funds for Forever Manchester, supporters of community activity across Manchester.

A 10p donation will go to the charity from each pint sold of Lees’ popular Manchester Pale Ale, a golden brew made from all-British malt, Liberty and Mount Hood hops.

Store Street Craft Bar is designed to be a standalone drinking den, showcasing the city’s range of independent breweries and microbreweries.

Forever Manchester is a charity that raises money for a range of community causes – the homeless, cancer support, environmental and educational projects and much more.

Hotel sales director Colette Sherry (pictured right) commented: “We’re delighted to be partner-ing with such a wonderful local charity. We’re completely invested in this city – it’s our home and we will continue to be an even bigger part of it as we launch this next chapter with Store Street. Forever Manchester was therefore the natural choice for us, as this partnership will allow us to invest in the most grass roots and local community projects possible. And all just by buying a beer.”

Jean Mills (left), head of business development at Forever Manchester, said: “We are delighted to welcome Store Street Exchange to our family of business supporters, and look forward to showing them how their contributions can make positive change across Greater Manchester, by investing in the communities where their staff and their families, and their customers live.”
