Tasting notes from Jason Palin, chef and cookery instructor

3 April 2018

My favourite place to eat out in Manchester is… Mi& Pho in Northenden – easy eats feels like you’re on holiday.

The best dish I’ve eaten in Manchester recently is… A Middle Eastern stew cooked by Food Sorcery founder Mark Seymour-Mead, which he cooked for guests as a treat at one of our wine tasting evenings.

My favourite dining room in Manchester is… The French in the historic Midland Hotel.  Pure class.

My favourite lunch spot in Manchester is… Tapas at Lunya in Barton Arcade with a sneaky Rioja.

If I had to eat only one thing for the rest of my days it would be… Ramen 18 hour broth. Yummy!

Jason is Chef Director for Food Sorcery Didsbury, a cookery and barista school.
