Chorlton's Beagle is hosting the second in a series of one-off special suppers. Following on from Chicken in Your Basket, which was a successful gourmet take on that time-old pub favourite, chicken in the basket, the new pub from the team behind Common and Port Street Beer House (plus Aumbry's Lawrence Tottingham as food consultant) bring you Chippy Tea. For this special supper, guests can tuck into a selection of tarted up chip shop classics. There will be chippy tapas for starters, a main fish course and tea and biscuits - as well as a veggie alternative. Three courses cost £20 and you can book on 0161 881 8596.
