Opening in 2021, this acai bar has taken Manchester by storm. Its classic green bowls and aesthetic white interior décor are often the focus of Instagram posts. However, this is not all looks and no substance, the acai itself is delish!
They pride themselves on having high-quality acai from the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil, and it definitely shows.
Acai and the Tribe also has a range of toppings for every customer. The ‘When in Rio’ is particularly good, with coconut, banana, blueberries, granola and peanut butter. Or, the ‘Hot Date’ is perfect for strawberry lovers, with Nutella and dates. Their acai is also customisable, and you can add or remove to your taste.

Bondi Bowls
Bondi Bowls is another viral spot, specialising in all kinds of bowls, from savoury to sweet. The founder was inspired by the healthy fast-food options in Sydney, so Bondi Bowls is bringing a touch of Australia to Manchester.
The restaurant is open and airy with large windows and white furnishings.
At the min they have two kinds of acai to choose from, a classic bowl with banana, strawberries, granola and coconut and ‘Cool down Acai Bowl’ which is topped with the same fruit but adds date syrup, blueberries and chia seeds. The acai here is mixed with mango, banana and coconut water to create a fruity taste.

Berry Boys
The three founders of Berry Boys describe themselves as ‘Manchester’s favourite Acai bar’ and they certainly don’t disappoint. Opening just last year, this spot has a sleek metallic counter serving up made-to-order acai bowls.
Prices start from £8.50, and each bowl features their thick acai berry blend and is stacked with toppings ranging from fresh fruit to dark chocolate. Also, if checking this acai out, you should definitely try ‘Mum’s Granola’ made to one of the founders’ mum’s recipe. Here you can choose one of their signature creations or build your own from scratch.

Plant blends
Plant Blends claims the title of Manchester’s first acai store with a flag-ship store in Hale and now has new spots, including the Trafford Centre. These stores have a fun beachy vibe like being whisked away to somewhere warm.
They pride themselves on using the freshest and highest quality ingredients, including their acai. For £11, you can build your own bowl with 4 toppings, or they have a selection of bowls to choose from. This includes an ‘Amazonico Acai’ with fresh fruit, agave and granola.

Cabaña
This might be the smallest acai spot in Manchester, but don’t underestimate this hole in the wall!
Here, they get their acai shipped directly from Brazil, and the founder’s mum is the main acai chef. Cabaña has a build your own acai bowl style for £8.70, and you can choose from toppings including: fruit, peanut butter, white and dark chocolate, coconut and chai seeds. They has have rotating specials, which experiment with flavours, including an apple crumble acai.
If you have the treat of meeting the founder, who works there most days, you’re guaranteed to have your day made. This South American-inspired coffee stand is truly bringing the sunshine to Didsbury.

The Acai Hut
The Acai Hut is a cute little café over in Atherton with a calming vibe. The décor is neutral with greenery, creating the ideal relaxed atmosphere to sit back and enjoy their acai.
The menu includes loads of fun bowls, such as the pistachio bowl, with pistachio cream and a Biscoff bowl. They are also well priced, starting at £6.50. The Acai Hut offers a build-your-own bowl with granola and any 4 toppings.

The Flat Baker
This is a gorgeous little spot in Ancoats that started out of the founder’s small flat. The couple are hoping to bring their culture to Manchester, and this is definitely what makes them stand out. They love to experiment with flavours from Brazil and traditional baking, combining the two.
Here you’ll find a bright yellow bakery certain to bring some sun into your day.

The Chai Cabin
The Chai Cabin is a food stall a little further out of Manchester. They have a soft serve acai bowl ice cream style. For toppings, they have the classics, raspberries, strawberries, bananas, kiwi and peanuts.
What makes this spot different is their opening hours, starting at 5pm and closing at 11pm mid-week and 12am on weekends. The Chai Cabin is ideal for late-night cravings, and their acai is worth a try!

Fauji Acai
This spot has been recently renovated with gorgeously aesthetic blue tile walls. The acai itself complements this insta-worthy décor, as they warn that their bowls ‘are so pretty, your camera will eat first’.
They have a range of bowls with toppings, including a bowl with granola, strawberries, bananas, cacao nibs and honey drizzle. Another popular bowl has strawberries, bananas, Nutella, and peanut butter.
Here, they do acai well and design their bowls even better.

Cholton’s new acai café opened just last year and has since been serving up delish bowls. The café has a bright blue theme with chairs and cups matching, bringing some brightness to Manny.
