With over 25 acts playing across two music stages, a smouldering, US-style, low n slow BBQ competition and craft beer bars, Grillstock is the hottest festival in the UK, attracting over 17,000 meat and music lovers seeking some southern hospitality in Bristol and Manchester.
Last year's festival in Manchester's Albert Square was smash, serving up juicy and smoky BBQ ribs, pulled pork, and other meaty treats from the King of the Grill competition to a wildly up-for-it crowd. This year, guests will have the chance, once again, to drink at one of several US-style bars offering craft beers and cider. There's also the chance to tuck into with bespoke smoky snacks and hot food from the UK's best grill hounds.
Fire breathers, eating competitions (one of Taste's friends won the rib-eating contest last year - it's a tough category), BBQ masterclasses, and dozens of traders, like BBQ legends, Weber, will be onsite selling merchandise. Its a boozy, smoky, fun weekend with an atmosphere that you'll be talking about for the rest of the summer. DJ Yoda has just been announced as one of the headline acts too.
