20 Stories is bringing Greater Manchester's fields into the city centre this spring with wild colourful flowers and overgrown greenery.
The terrace has been transformed in partnership with Manchester Gin, whose gins are made at The Spirit of Manchester Distillery, just a five minute walk from the Spinningfields’ restaurant. The new installation also includes herbs and botanicals, tying in nicely with Manchester Gin’s infused spirits.
The themed rooftop will be offering specially curated seasonal cocktails made by the 20 Stories bar team. Some favourites will include the already popular Manchester Gin Negroni, served from a 4.5L bottle and some new creations like Petite Ananas, featuring pineapple and raspberry flavours.
The Manchester Meadow spring terrace will be open from April to June and will showcase the partnership with Manchester Gin with dedicated cocktails but with multiple events and two Manchester Gin infused dishes as part of the restaurant's A La Carte menu.
Natasha Davies, D&D Marketing Manager of the North said: ‘We are excited to welcome you to 20 Stories with a new theme for the spring months in collaboration with a Manchester brand. Our aim is to provide a magical, blooming, airy feel that overlooks our wonderful city.
‘We have worked hard to ensure we are able to offer an unforgettable experience that you can’t get anywhere else in the city, and we are sure our guests will love it every inch as much as we do.’
The team behind Manchester Gin commented: ‘With summer just around the corner, we can’t wait to join 20 Stories in welcoming you to the 'Manchester Meadow’. Where better to enjoy a G&T or a cocktail in the sun than at their iconic terrace with stunning views across the city? The terrace will be a unique celebration of botanicals and has been transformed into a sky-high, fragrant meadow.’
