Look out for a bumper truck-load of fun this Bank Holiday weekend, as the Lowry Outlet Food Festival returns to Salford Quays. The FREE three-day fiesta includes live entertainment and more than 120 stalls serving up everything from street food to local produce and cheese. TV chefs like Gennaro Contaldo, Rachel Allen and James Martin will be hosting demos in the open air and there are loads of things for kids to get involved with too.
There's even a special kids cooking stage with 45 minutes cooking sessions at 11am, 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm each day. The sessions are suitable for children aged three and over and the Kids Cookery School is a registered charity which believes that every child should have the opportunity to learn to cook and embraces children with special needs.
