THE biggest vegan gathering in the North of England tales place in Manchester this Saturday (April 1). Evidence of the upsurge in this lifestyle choice is the Northern Vegan Festival’s main venue switch to Manchester Central.
This will host 200 stalls, talks, cookery demos and a huge seated cafe area.
Venue 2 is the nearby Friends Meeting House, where there will be additional talks and workshops; venue 3 is a five minute walk away at Cross Street Chapel, Cross Street, M2 1NL where there will be a partner Green Fair; venue 4 is at The Thirsty Scholar in New Wakefield Street, where from noon until 3am where there will be a vegan beer, wine and cider festival.
