Its gone fast but the Northern Quarter bread specialist and contemporary wine bar celebrates birthday number one this week.

There is a private party tonight which Taste offered exclusive tickets to through a recent Twitter competition. And from tomorrow the happy festive people of Manchester will be able to sample the delights of an all new pop-up Christmas bar.

Called the Pop Inn, we have been spying through the windows and can see a lot of pine, tinsel and leather seating. Its looking like a cosy Victorian vibe inside. Time to get toasty.
