Tampopo is going all out to celebrate Katsu Curry Day this year by giving away 400 free curries across its Manchester locations.
Any fans of the famous Japanese dish are invited to enjoy a FREE katsu curry to celebrate its status as one of the restaurant’s most popular dishes with Tampopo since they first served it up in 1997 (one of the first restaurants in Manchester to serve the dish).
Special popup Katsu Curry Hubs will be stationed outside all of Tampopo’s locations across Greater Manchester - Albert Square, The Corn Exchange, The Trafford Centre Restaurant and The Trafford Centre Kiosk - on 27th September where 100 free curries will be served up from 11am - 1pm.
But you'll need to hurry for the curry as when the free Katsus are gone - they’re gone.
Following the recent unveiling of Tampopo’s biggest menu evolution to date—where 70% of dishes are either brand new or refined to perfection—this Katsu Curry Day giveaway is an exciting opportunity for both Tampopo fans and newcomers to the brand to experience the restaurant’s authentic Far Eastern flavors.

Don't worry if you're plant-based either as you'll be able to grab a bowl of the iconic Japanese comfort food with either crispy breaded chicken or vegetables, served with steamed rice and smothered in a rich, savory curry sauce.
So how do you claim one? Well, simply rock up to one of Tampopo’s four Manchester locations this Friday and head to the Katsu Curry Pop Up outside the restaurant. Delicious curries will be served on a first come first served basis.
