IT’S getting a bit like Glastonbury – the ticket buying tension that surrounds Indy Man Beer Con, scheduled again for faraway October. At least we have a date to get on your marks for – on Monday June 1 at 9am is when tickets go on sale for what Taste of Manchester considers the UK's best craft beer extravaganza.
The fourth festival is once again at Victoria Baths in Manchester and session times are as follows: Thursday, Oct 8, 5.30-11.30pm; Fri 5.30-11.30pm day 11.30-4.30pm (trade session) and evening 5.30-11.30pm; Sat Oct 10 day 11.30-4.30pm and evening 5.30-11.30pm; Sun Oct 11 1pm-7pm.
This year sees an increased capacity to welcome over 6,000 people throughout the course of the festival, making room for more beers, more events, more food and more fun, whilst also better utilising the venue’s outside space.
Even so we suggest you book early, for a year on from the last Independent Manchester Beer Convention, to give it its proper title – organised by the team behind Common, Port Street Beer House and The Beagle – Manchester seems to have gone even more hop crazy.
