THE ever-enterprising Northern Quarter Restaurant and Bar have launched a new a la Carte menu, featuring dishes like Peppered Lancashire Goats Curd, Seared Cheshire Beef Sirloin, Pickled Herring, Pan-Fried Goosnargh Chicken Livers – and that’s just for starters!
Perennial fave Barry Pugh’s Suckling Pig is no longer on the menu, but TNQ believe they have potential new winners in Braised Cheshire Beef Blade, Roast Fillet of Middlewhite Pork and Baked Butternut Squash & Sage Gnocchi. Great things are expected, too, of a fiery Monkfish and King Prawns in a chilli, coconut and coriander broth served with fresh wasabi and a measure of sake.
