JAY Rayner, Observer restaurant critic and BBC One Show reporter, is talking about his new book, A Greedy Man in a Hungry World, at Manchester Jewish Museum on Thursday, June 6 as part of the Prestwich Book Festival.
Its a journey through the worlds edible landscapes and includes stories of growing up with an agony aunt (his mother, Claire Rayner) and getting a suit made by the man who dressed the PG Tips chimps!
Jay, who this week won the Guild of Food Writers Award for Campaigning and Investigative Food Writing, will also be signing copies at the event, which begins at 7.30pm.
