Heathcotes Restaurants has scooped a top industry accolade at the glittering Catey awards ceremony in London. Fighting off stiff competition from category heavyweights Premier Inn and Compass, the Heathcotes team took home the gong for best use of technology - which recognises the company’s use of integrated technologies in the reservations and marketing systems.

The prestigious Catey awards took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel and were hosted by celebrity comedian Michael McIntyre. A host of famous foodie personalities, including Gary Rhodes, Raymond Blanc and Brain Turner, were also present among the 1,200 guests.

Following the ceremony, Paul Heathocte said: “Compared to the other nominees we are a small company, so it was a real honour to be announced as the winner. We are committed to hospitality and one way of improving the customer experience is by embracing cutting edge technology.â€?

Sales and marketing manager at Heathcotes Restaurants Danny Taylor, who collected the award, added: “This is a fantastic achievement and I’m absolutely delighted we’ve been recognised with such a prestigious award. We always look to pioneer new technologies and the Catey award reflects all the hard work and dedication put in by the team.â€?

This is the third Catey award for Heathcotes, with Paul previously being honoured with best newcomer and best restaurateur.
